Experimental Psychology

Attentionlab + Multisensory Space Lab meetings

The aim of AttentionLab is to study ‘attention’ and ‘visual awareness’ in their broadest terms in the healthy population but also in a clinical setting. In AttentionLab, we study attention and visual awareness using various methods, such as obstacle avoidance, eye movement recordings, lesion overlap and flash suppression. We study these functions in various patient populations, like hemianopia, visual neglect and Korsakoff’s syndrome. Our aim is to provide a rich interaction between experimental psychology and neuropsychology with the ultimate goal to solve the puzzle about how we create a perception of our world.

The Attentionlab meeting is held every Tuesday from 11AM till 12AM in room E1.24 of the Langeveld Building.
